Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I'd love to experience cultural exchange by getting to know people throught this platform.
Last summer I traveled around Europe and I loved getting to know better all places, including the experience of seeing how the local people live in the cities I visited.
I'm moving in March to Germany in order to work and study and I'm planning on settle in Berlin, I'd love to meet some locals!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and my favorite band is Pink Floyd, but i also listen to all types of music!
I love movies with nice messages, i don't like goofy movies such as american pie and that kind of stuff.
When it comes to books, I love Margaret Atwood and Gabriel García Marquez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is the short story of how during one trip to Brazil, my friends and I survived a storm in open sea at a float boat.
So, we decided to take a float boat to an island that we heared, was like paradise. We got on the last boat - around 5 pm - and right away we got caught up on a terrible storm in the middle of open sea.
Ok, at first we got really scared cause a 45 minute fun trip to the island ended up being a 2 hour nightmare in the middle of a storm in the sea at night - everything went dark cause of the storm-.
But after a few minutes, we realized that there was nothing we could do and that freaking out was the worst so with towns of water coming right to our faces we started to laught, we just couldn´t believe that was happening and taking it with humor was the best way to get throught it.
At the end, we got to the island and it rain for two days on a road, but after that bad weather we discover the most amazing beaches we've ever seen so it was definetly worth it!
