Hello I'm Yang. Born and grown up in Shanghai, I departed for France at 20 y.o. for undergraduate studies, and now I'm working in the Parisian region as a marketing analyst.
= I like travelling and embracing new cultures - as most CS members do.
= Support community projects like Wikipedia and Wiktionary.
= Love reading from the history, visiting museums, going to theatres, singing in the shower.
= Responsible consumption. Minimalist, reuse and recycle, no food waste.
= Eat healthy, fan of wine, dry sausages or cured ham, not bad at cooking but I prefer going to restaurants.
= Love data - conduct visualized researches on a historical company with a Belgian colleague.
= Given up smartphones since 2021 :) I'm reachable by sms or call on my Nokia; I have access to social media at home via PC.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been backpacking in hostels and meeting random travellers there.
But hostels aren't everywhere in the world.
I'd say to myself, why not trying coachsurfing in smaller cities and meeting locals?

No superheroes:
= I generally like films related to everyday life or on 20th history (WWII, cold war, etc).
= Not a fan of Sci-Fi, nor Harry Potter, Star Wars or Lords of the Rings (sorry!)
Leaflets than books:
= Has been a while for novels...
= I read more often newspapers, magazines or how-to books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

= When I was 18, I backpacked alone in Australia for 2 weeks.
= I have worked in a hostel in Budapest for a month and met amazing people.

Teach, Learn, Share

Fan of language learning
= I love discovering the phonetics of the languages. Interesting to learn about the similarities among them.
= I love modern history and am doing researches on a company's history.
= I'm fluent in French. Or I can teach you how to write in Arabic or Chinese :)
= I'd be glad if you can speak or are learning the same languages as me!
