About Me

I'm a civil engineer from Brazil who took an exchange course in Zagreb-Croatia during the winter semester (2015-2016). I was born in Rio de Janeiro (the city who everybody knows) in Southeast of Brazil but I moved with my family to João Pessoa in Northeast when I was ten years old. During the time that I lived in Europe I had the opportunity to visit many places and I had the chance of staying in some couch surfers places and I also could receive some people in Zagreb. It was an amazing experience for me, not for the free stays but because all people I met and the amazing moments I could enjoy. Couchsurfing is definitely a great opportunity to make new friends, to share your experiences, culture and amazing moments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think it is the best option to meet people and exchange our cultures and knowledge. Furthermore, it is a good way to make new friends and also help people who want to visit the city I live now.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a specific favorite kind of music. So, if I like the singer/band and the song I can listen everything, but I do like some brazilians songs like Bossa Nova and Popular Brazilian Music styles. I also like listening Adele ( Shes is totally amazing, both as a singer, as songwriter).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1 - Walking more than 8 kilometers from the Charleroi airport in Belgium to the hotel carrying more than 10 kilos in my backpack with my backpackers partners, because we didn't want to spend money taking a taxi. (Maybe it was more idiot than amazing hahaha)

2- Participating in the traditional New Year's dive on the freezing coast of Scheveningen in The Hague.

Teach, Learn, Share

Maybe I can try to teach a little of Portuguese, discuss about civil engineering and try to learn a bit of each language in each country I visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my own experiences, how is my life in Brazil and how is our culture. I can also share a bit of my experience during my stay in Croatia.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, England, France, Hungary, Netherlands, Wales
