Summer vacation is a classic (hospitality sector is very dynamic: b&b, holidays rent house, hotel, farms, therms, etc.).
Very particular the local rituals during all the year: Christmas with its markets and menus; Easter with the Religious events (so pagan and surrealist for some aspects). Carnival in February (Putignano, Gallipoli, etc.).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Capilungo ( is characterized by short and easy rocks down long are natural easy entrance to the sea. Even less, recently local people like to enjoy eco rural promenade (2 km) close to the sea for a walk or for a unforgettable run. Children also love this environment for the fishing and limpid sea floor.

In this contest me and me and my family offer accomodation for job in holidays houses close to the sea. Very nice atmosphere. Some bikes available. At the welcome, wine introduction (how to taste wine professionally with the WSET methode).

During the winter-autum, I offer accomodation for free in my house (cosy sofà bed).
