About Me

I'm a biologist and passionate by nature and all living beings! I'm also a vegetarian and I think everyone should be. I'm a peaceful person, organized, patient, very friendly and always happy. I'm an atheist, but a respectful one. I love to travel, walk by new places and meet people from different cultures. Unfortunately I'm a student and I don't have too much money, but I would like to travel more often.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think this is a wonderful initiative, to allow people from different countries to know each other and to live and share experiences with someone you don't know, but probably will be a very nice experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pop music, some rock music and I love jazz and blues.

3 books I like a lot:
"Why We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs, and Wear Cows: An Introduction to Carnism"
"The Drunkard's Walk: How Randomness Rules Our Lives"
“The Selfish Gene"

I don't like movies, but I like to watch documentaries, like these ones:
"Blackfish"; "The Cove"; "Sharkwater"; "Food inc"; "Meat the truth"; "Forks over knives"; "Earthlings"; "Cowspiracy"; "Confessions of an Eco-Terrorist".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I did was a trip in 2013, in which I visited 5 countries (Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Paraguay) in 3 weeks. I went with two friends and it was an incredible experience. We visited the most amazing places I ever saw in my life. In each country we visited some touristic places like Titicaca Lake, Machu Picchu, Nazca Lines, Atacama and Iguazu Falls. It was awesome! And I would like to repeat this kind of trip very soon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese and about the Brazilian culture.
I would like to learn different languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my home, my knowledge about biology and other subjects I like and my worldview about our society and about our role in this planet.
