ABOUT ME

I'm the kind of person that never says no to new things. I can try any food (that's not spicy lol), sport, place, drink... anything! At least once. Also I'm that friend that when nobody wants to go out, I cheer everybody up and can even make (at least some of) them change their minds :)
I'm fun, I like to make jokes all the time, however, I can be very serious. The thing is I'm really shy, some people confuse that sometimes, thinking I'm stuck up or so, but I'm really quiet if I don't know people. Once we start talking, getting along (no, we don't need to become best friends for that haha), I don't stop speaking, telling my stories, listening to other people's and even making fun of things!
I'm not really a morning person, not a big fan of waking up early (but wait, who is?). But since I've become a grown up, I had to learn how to live with that haha I just don't like to talk that much right after waking up, I need my time to REALLY wake up (I might look awake, but I'm still sleeping sometimes haha). I like staying up late, I'm a little more active in the evening!
I'm very friendly, neat, organized and nice. You'll see...

I've lived in Brazil, in the (cold!!) Netherlands and currently in New Jersey, USA. So I do have many stories!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had great experiences, also some not so great, of course. I think this is incredible and the exchange is always rich for both parts.
My mother has also hosted several people in our house and also was hosted in Brooklyn/NY. I introduced CS to her and she has used it much more than me now, how funny is that?

兴趣

I like adventures so anything that involves some butterflies in the stomach, excitement and even a little fear are quite appealing to me :)
Also I like movies, BEACHES, theaters, singing, dancing, skiing, TRAVELING, sharing experiences... I'm not very into museums but I like visiting them too, they're (a big!) part of every place we visit, right?
I love reading... I always have a new book. My favorite ones are fictions and biographies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- When I was in Michigan, my friend took me for a night boat ride in a river close to his house... I remember looking at the sky, it was amazing: I had never seen that many stars!
- My first time in NYC... it's my all-time favorite place and all the other thousands of times I went there afterwards were just as great!
- When I traveled to San Francisco and looked at the Golden Gate Bridge and cried (!!!). I still don't know why but it felt so good being right there, in that place, which I'd known from movies and pictures... being so close was overwhelming and exciting!
- Seeing the Tour Eiffel for the first time. Can't explain the feeling! Might sound clichê (and maybe it is?!) but it made me feel so happy, so blessed and excited!
