ABOUT ME

I am Luan and I am 28 years old. I am Brazilian and I have finished my Master in Energy and Environmental Planning at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), where I have also undergraduate in Management. Nowadays, I am Professor at UFRJ and I'm also doing my PhD in Energy and Environmental Planning at the same institution. I don't smoke and I don't use drugs. It is really: you must believe on me. However, I have no problems with these things and I am a very easygoing person, besides I have a very positive energy.

I had an international experience studying in the Integrated Master on Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), Portugal, during 2010-2011. This experience of living in another country is an unforgetable moment in my life, because I've learned too much about so many different cultures.

I really like to know people and talk to them, to know different cultures, to go out to dance, and so on. That's why I guess Couchsurf is a good idea for me, because I can do all these things at the same time. Now, I am planning to travel around Latin America with my twin brother. Then, I think I can learn more traveling as a surfer wherever I go than going by myself. Discover the cities with someone who lives there is more interesting, because I can know much more! Moreover, I can try many interesting experiences and I also can make new friends.
