ABOUT ME
I am fun and a little odd. I adore travel and cannot fill out the "where you want to go" section because I want to go everywhere. I love hostels, photography, memories, the outdoors getting lost and new things. I love museums and galleries but also love being active and in nature. I climbed a mountain with two friends, five peaches and two liters of carbonated lemonade. I am not the best at planning but am spontaneous and willing to go along (and come up with) pretty much any plan- the more ridiculous the better.
Also, I am a living statue.
PHILOSOPHY
I love to really get to know a place. I would rather spend a week in one city than see seven countries in seven days. There is so much I want to see, but I don't want to just see it, I want to live it and understand bits of it. I want to be a traveler, not a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have far too many favourite books to list. Everything from the Divine Comedy to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I am kind of a huge Tolkien nerd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finally experiencing my own country. Summer 2010 was spend taking Greyhounds from coast to coast and then some. Halifax to Victoria and up to Whitehorse. I learnt a lot, made some friends and just had an amazing time. I managed to fund the whole thing through street performance. So happy I did it!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have an abundance of trivia and useless knowledge. For anyone looking to get into the living statue business here are some tips:
- take breaks! You can stay out longer if you take 30 seconds to sit down and stretch
- sunscreen is your best friend
- try a bunch of different footwear, but don't be surprised if you just end up in bare feet
- It may be obvious to everyone but me, but to make your costume stiff and statue like? Paint it! House paint works great!
- If you are going to paint your costume, make sure it is *thin* fabric! Something like wool will absorb all your paint and will leave you with a big, unflexable, uncomfortable, useless thing.
- Have fun!
