About Me

Welcome to my Couchsurfing profile! I am a social and behavior change officer at UNICEF, which means that I work to promote positive changes in social behavior to improve the lives of children and their communities.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books and writing my first non-fiction book. These activities allow me to expand my knowledge and share my experiences with others. Additionally, I like to stay physically active by attending the gym and aqua aerobics classes. Not only do these activities help me stay in shape, but they also promote mental wellness, which is important for my high-pressure job.

In the past, I had the opportunity to explore my creative side by attending drama school and working as a film producer. These experiences taught me the importance of storytelling and creativity in making a positive impact on the world. I believe that creativity can be a powerful tool for social change and use this belief in my work at UNICEF.

As a Couchsurfing host, I am excited to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds. I look forward to sharing my experiences and learning from others. I am happy to offer tips on the best places to visit in my city and can provide recommendations for local restaurants and activities.

Thank you for considering staying with me during your travels. I hope to meet you soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am excited to be here as I am planning a trip to Italy and would love to connect with locals to get advice and potentially find a host.

I have always been fascinated by Italian culture, art, and cuisine, and I am thrilled to finally have the opportunity to visit this beautiful country. I believe that connecting with locals is the best way to truly experience a new place and gain a deeper understanding of its people and culture.

I am hoping to find a Couchsurfing host who can offer me and my best friend Olga a unique perspective on Italy and help us navigate the local customs and traditions. I am interested in exploring the historical landmarks, trying local food, and discovering hidden gems that only locals know about. I also appreciate advice on the best ways to get around, the safest areas to stay, and the most budget-friendly options.

In exchange for your hospitality and guidance, I am happy to offer my own cultural exchange and share stories of my travels and experiences. I believe that Couchsurfing is a wonderful platform for building connections and fostering cultural understanding, and I am excited to be a part of this community.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, and I look forward to potentially connecting with some of you soon!

Interests

Ever since I watched the movie "Call Me By Your Name," I have been obsessed with the beautiful Italian scenery and culture depicted in the film. The movie was filmed in Crema, a small town located in the Lombardy region of Italy, and it captured the essence of the country's charm and romance.

The lush countryside, the quaint town square, and the sun-drenched streets of Crema have all left an indelible mark on my imagination. I cannot help but fantasize about walking along the same paths as Elio and Oliver did in the movie, admiring the same historic architecture, and basking in the warmth of the Italian sun.

Beyond my love for the movie's setting, I am also deeply curious about the Italian way of life. I want to explore the country's vibrant art and music scene, indulge in its world-renowned cuisine, and learn more about its rich history and culture.

Italy's diverse regions and cities also offer a wealth of attractions and activities that I cannot wait to experience firsthand. From the canals of Venice to the Colosseum in Rome, from the rolling hills of Tuscany to the bustling city of Milan, there is so much to see and explore.

Ultimately, my desire to visit Italy is driven by a passion for adventure and a thirst for knowledge. I believe that travel is a powerful tool for personal growth and cultural exchange, and I am excited to embark on this journey of discovery. Who knows? Maybe I will even have my own "Call Me By Your Name" moment along the way.
