Glad you found me! My name is Luc. I finished my engineering studies in 2019 (time flies) and worked in France and then Belgium, where I lived for 3 years.
Like many of you on CS, I'm very adventurous and active. I love sports in general, especially running, soccer, climbing, kitesurfing, hiking, camping, etc...

I decided to quit my job to realize one of my biggest dreams, traveling in a backpack with no return date. I travel solo, sometimes with 2, sometimes with more. I love sharing experiences, with travelers and locals alike. I signed up here to have the opportunity to connect with the CS community across the continent (anywhere really, I'll be everywhere) to make friends, language partners, and fellow travelers 🙂

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

🛋️I joined CS in September 2024 during my backpacking trip in Asia, on the recommendation of a good friend I met along the way. I'm looking for connections, and I think I'll find them in the CS community.

I never like to be comfortable for too long, and I'm always looking for new experiences or something to learn. That's what I find so rewarding about traveling! There's no better way to travel and get to know a place than in the company of a local 😁

Teach, Learn, Share

🧑‍🏫Teaching: English is not my native language, but I can help you progress by discussing any subject you like.

Learning: I love listening to you talk about what you're passionate about, but I have a particular interest in the animals and nature of your country, as well as your language.

Sharing: As well as sharing a meal, memories, and a cup of coffee, we can share our perceptions of the countries and places we've visited, and the stories we've collected there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Share my experience, hanging out, teaching you a few words in French ! I’m also happy to help around the house.

I’m a clean and organized person, very okay with giving the host space if they prefer or hanging out too. I’m flexible and respectful. 🙌🏼
