About Me

I am a 27 years old Dutch guy, which is offcourse open minded and social because why else would you travel the world alone ;)? I love phisolophy, politics and I am absolutely passionate about sustainability. I am a (very?) positive person, but not that much when it comes to climate change. I love adventures and my mental coach/business advisor always says: 'you're not rich untill you have got something that money can't buy.'

I have lived in Brazil for a total of 11 months in my life, due to voluntairy work/study/working, because I was planning to build a sustainable community there for the poor people. That went incredibly well, but due to the economic and political situation in Brazil we have decided to wait a bit untill we continue investing time and money there. My portuguese is still quite fluent though, and therefore learning Spanish was pretty easy too.

After that, I travelled for 7 months in pretty much all of South-America. Now I settled back in Holland and got myself a nice job and home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travelled quite a bit myself and used Couchsurfing some times as well. I absolutely loved it.
I settled in Holland nowadays and got quite a nice appartment in the center of Delft. If you ask me, it is a perfect place to host people, so I decided to give something back to the community some times. I do not have a lot of time, but I will definately (last minute) host some people some time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Documentaries: Before the Flood, An inconvenient truth, the cowspiracy.
Movies: I'm not good at this question because sooo much choices.
Books: Inferno by Dan Brown! And anything written by any philosopher basically.. And Dan Ariely's books are awesome! And Daniel Kahneman too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Erhmm I guess writing a business plan for 20 houses after I saw poverty/favela's in Brazil was pretty nice, especially when it got 'turned up' to a project of 1.000 houses.. (which is now on hold, because you know crisis..)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have no idea what to fill in here but let's make one thing clear: You're not happy untill you have something that money can't buy!
