About Me

Hey! I recently discovered that I registered on Couchsurfing once several years ago, but never used it after that. That is why Couchsurfing is somehow new for me, and thus here are some brief information about me:
I recently graduated from university and would like to do a round of traveling around Europe on my own - by train, bus and hitchhiking. I will go to Bangladesh in Oktober, as I will work for a year in a development project in the area of microinsurances. Therefore, I would like to spend around one month discovering as much of Europe as possible. And I can do that best by spending time with locals. Maybe this can be the beginning of an international friendship, let's see!
Since I left my shared apartment and live again at my parents house, I can't host at the moment. But if you dare to come to Dhaka in Bangladesh in a few months, let me know, because I will be your host😊✌️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new challenges. One of them is to keep moving out of my comfort zone. My motivation is to develop myself further. That's why I like to meet new people with different cultural backgrounds, different lifestyles and different opinions, to learn from them and to make new friends. Couchsurfing is great because it allows me to discover a previously unknown city with its culture and people in a way that is not possible with normal travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

If you are motivated, we can talk the whole evening about movies. Especially plot twist movies.
Inception: did the spinning top fall over or not?
Tenet: Anything understood?
Pulp Fiction: Say what one more time!

Music: Usually I listen to electronic sound (Cercle...).
But open to new stuff! When I travel, I want to get to know as many new songs as possible. Show me your favorites, I'm curious! When I was younger, I played the piano. Maybe I can still play one or the other song.

regarding books: i like books about society, politics, economy, travel. not so much the novel type. tell me a book I must read😁

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked several months in New Zealand. Whether in a police car, at the back of a pickup truck or in a trunk, I have experienced quite many things.
When I was younger, I did many bike tours. That is why I visited many countries in Eastern Europe. Once I rode my bike from Switzerland to Croatia, another time I rode to Berlin.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Here's what I can offer you: Humor, I can teach you German/Swiss German or a little French, discussions about politics, economics, art, ethics, history, life attitudes ...., have a drink or two
... whatever it is, show me your world and I will listen and watch it with interest.
We can cook together, but we can also grab something to take away. I am really open to whatever, show me your thing you are passionate about!
