Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i want to travel the world and meet new people so couchsurfing seems like a good way to start!! i'm really curious about everything and easy-going. i would love to meet some people from the place that i visit, learn new things, discover new cultures and exchange experiences with my hosts or guests. (ps, i'm allergic to cats, if you could please let me know if you own one !)

Music, Movies, and Books

music - some of my favourite artists are björk, radiohead, the knife, sonic youth, boards of canada, interpol, underworld, massive attack, madonna, metronomy, new order, the cure, the chemical brothers...
movies - i really like old school horror movies (the exorcist, alien, evil dead, nightmare on elm street, every john carpenter movie ever), and sf movies (star wars, blade runner, the matrix, 2001 a space odyssy, ghost in the shell) and other things like twin peaks, rocky horror picture show and anime movies.
books - even if i wouldn't consider myself as a keen reader, i really like to read ! i read mostly french authors, but i try to be more diverse in my reading (if you have any recommendations...). my favorite authors are albert camus, boris vian, marguerite duras, alain damasio, hermann hesse, milan kundera, haruki murakami ... because if my studies, i also have to read about social sciences and history, like michel foucault, claude lévi-strauss, pierre bourdieu marcel mauss...

Teach, Learn, Share

i really like to cook ! i'm really willing to learn how to cook some local food, or to teach how to cook french food.
i would also be very glad to share a drink, stories, or a walk with host or guests.
