About Me

I'm a medical student from Poitiers (France), and I'm taking a year off to study neurociences in California.
Discovering, meeting new people, learning: what else?
Always smiling - or at least as often as the sunshine in California, I love traveling. My experience is limited mainly to Europe, so I guess it was time to see different parts of the world!
Last but not least, I also love sports : running, swimming, hiking, sailing, and of course soccer (what a worldcup that was!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Probably the best way to immerse yourself in a new culture, and to meet people with different ways of thinking.
So much to learn from the locals!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have eclectic taste in music. My favorite music right now ? Hotel California (Eagles).

About movies, The professional (dear Jean-Paul Belmondo...), The good, the bad and the ugly (with the fantastic music from Ennio Morricone), and Matrix are part of my classic.

I love reading, in particular russian litterature (Tolstoy...) and french poets (Baudelaire, Rimbaud...).
All the world's a stage!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My solo flight with a Cessna 152. What an amazing feeling to fly above the city, with the birds!
A lot of apprehension during take off and landing, but an unforgettable moment. Especially when your instructor says : "I think you are ready. It's time for your first solo flight".

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a DIY enthusiast, and I would be happy to help you with your works. Also not too bad with a computer, so if you have some troubles with that, maybe I could help.

I'm looking to explore what the locals enjoy doing, and of course learn from them about food, culture...

Why not sharing discussions about life (or about science, history...) or/and hanging out together?

What I Can Share with Hosts

My usual good humour, my passion for neurosciences, and good conversations around a bottle of wine :)
I'm also helpful, and definitively a nice person to hike with.
