About Me
Hey I'm Luc, a German currently studying in Karlsruhe!
I am a chill, humorous and social guy who'd like to have a good time with YOU!
Writing this is surprisingly hard but I'll give my best.
I like to make people laugh which hardly works but I tend to think if they are laughing at me they are laughing anyways so...
I like to think of myself as very flexible, spontaneous guy that is especially hard to upset but as it turns out part of growing up might be also liking plans and maybe even wanting to be be upset and complain a little.
I'm also a very sporty guy and even if I don't play anything professionally I have some skills with most of the basic kinds! Wherever I hang out for a longer time outside I always take my little fun playing kit. So yeah I love to move around and just throw, kick or hit something. And what I don't know how to do yet I am going have great time learning.
Being with my friends is also a very important part of my life!
I hang out with them a lot and whether it's inside in winter or in the park in summer we always manage to have a great time and laugh a lot. Just joking around is as important as having serious discussions I think! And I am always down for both.
I am a CISVer by heart ever since my mum signed me up with 11.
It's an amazing organisation that aims for international peace through friendship! We work on important social and political topics while bonding on a very deep level. It's very hard to explain exactly but I'll be very happy to try!
I haven't gone to many lately but another thing I love are open air festivals with camping. For the music, the camping, for the spirit, the atmosphere and for the fun!
I mean in festivals always the craziest things happen but that's part of the point right? I like to think of them as an adult playground!
And yes Camping is a big part of it. Many people tend to believe that it's all about the music but a nice camp is also important!
Ireally enjoy going out into the nature and just take it all in. I think it's really impressive with what beauty nature came up!
Brings me to the next thing.
I like camping. Don't go enough but the cozy and peacefulness is unbeatable.
I really enjoy going out into the nature and just take it all in. Nature came up with a lot of very impressive things!
Whether it's mountains, woods, underwater, a park, the coast, a river or whatever, I'm going to love spending time there.
Writing this I kinda feel like there are a lot of things a don't do enough.
Beer is a greatly appreciated beverage but what I said right above does probably not apply here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A lot of people I know are couchsurfer and not just are they very good people, they also convinced me that couchsurfing is a really great thing! I'd go as far as saying that there is no better way to get to know the real side of a place than staying with a local.
And on top you get to know and spend time with cool people. Sounds like a great deal to me.
I really enjoy getting to know interesting people and find out their story!
Sharing good times can really make it better. And all that whilst discovering a new place

Music, Movies, and Books
Happy Hip Hop, Trance, Elektroswing, Techno, Singer-Songwriter, classics, basically music is awesome!
Sadly haven't read too much lately but definitely planning on it for when I have a bit more time!
Puuh movies is tough I don't watch too many honestly and if I do I go to the sneak preview
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just went skiing and am now officially one of the powder enthusiasts. We had a lot of new snow and I loooved shredding through it! I still need to practice but at least failing feels like falling into clouds.
Before starting my studies I spend 8 months in Mexico and l am a bit proud I easily survived that one on my own
I really love the country and tried out scooba diving there and now I will soon do my certification.
I went to Ozora, a psytrance festival in hungay in 2018 and even if you might not be able to enjoy that kind of music that was the best festival I've been to.
They had nice music, great workshops and courses, an amazing atmosphere, a mindset full of positivity, few limitations and good organisation.
Seems like I quit smoking
