About Me

After trying to become a doctor, I've decided to change everything in my life and now I'm studying languages (English, Russian and Portuguese). The dream is to become a literary translator, but I just want to keep my options open and in the meantime travel as much as I can.

Currently staying in Moscow for 6 months as an exchange student.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet people from all over the world, and to know new cultures. I want to travel as much as I can, and I'm not picky on places to sleep.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: everything from rock to jazz, from alternative to classical, from electronic to opera, and everything in between
Books: Mostly fiction, I try to read classics from as many cultures as I can, American and Russian literature are probably my favorite. Some favorites: On the road by Kerouac, Franny & Zooey by Salinger, anything by Dostoevskij, Everything is illuminated by Foer, 4 3 2 1 by Auster, Master and Margarita by Bulgakov
Movies: I love most genres, not really into horror movies though. Into the wild, Before Sunrise, Une femme est une femme

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled by train from Italy to Beijing, meeting people and seeing places along the way, and working for some time on a farm in Mongolia. It was my first "big" trip and what has made me want to travel the world even more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Italian and Italian culture, I'm a good cook and I can give you some tips about that as well. I can also share a lot of suggestions on books to read and movies to watch. I love to take pictures of people and places, especially if they’re unconventional.
