Hi!

I'm an almost 21-year-old (my birthday is on October 28th) German living near Frankfurt/Main who's just finished his gap year in New Zealand. I decided to extend my gap year (I still haven't found what I'm looking for) which is why I'm coming to Australia.

I would describe myself as a thoughtful, open-minded, curious, sometimes shy, food-loving and optimistic person who tries to enjoy the positive things life offers to us. I smile a lot!!

Before going to university (I want to study psychology), I want to explore the world with all its fascinating places. I love speaking foreign languages (until now I'm able to speak English & French, but I hope there will be more, Spanish is on the list now :-)) and getting to know other nationalities, cultures and lifestyles.
I think there is nothing better than travelling (with all its adventures) to broaden your horizons - I want to figure out who I am and who I want to be!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make my travels around the world even more intensive and interesting by staying at native's houses/flats.
I think Couchsurfing offers a great chance to get inspired by many different ways of living and thinking!
