Hey! I am Luca and I recently moved to Oxford where I am doing a PhD.
I come from a tiny village in Southern Italy, but I spent quite many years in Rome where I studied.
After spending some months working in the USA, I finally ended up in Oxford where I am studying and where I will stay for the next years.
There is a number of activities I love to do, and I am always eager to learn new things and to be involved into new adventures. I love outdoor activities (yes, that's probably what at least the 90% of the people write on their profile). But definitely I am not a stay-at-home person. I love hiking, skateboarding, slacklining and, in general, spending time chilling outside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling alone or with just one close friend because, in my view, travelling means only partially visiting new places. A huge part of the travel is meeting new people, local people, and being surrounded by new cultures, new languages, new food, and everything that a new place can give to you. Hence, I hope that Couchsurfing will allow me to visit new places and to dive into different cultures guided by lovely people.
