⚠️No free accommodation without socializing: I am not running a hostel and my apartment is not just a place to check your bags, shower before you go to clubs, charge your devices and surf the net! I host you because I wish to get to know you and to spend some quality time with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Latin, rock, minimal electronic and dark beats. Classical music opened my mind, rock set me free. I create electronic music generating sounds with virtual machines that play on the internet. Some call it madness, I call it meditation.

I Dismissed tv 20 years ago and started watching more movies than there are crushed cars in the Blues Brothers' chase. Now I don't watch anything, I do stuff, life is way to short.
The Sun also Rises and... Way too many books... Reading is life and I write to live!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped on a small sailing boat and crossed the Atlantic, survived and wrote a book about it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning new things. I can teach how to cook (food is my faith) and how to sail (and some other odd things in between). I love to share feelings and emotions about travel and life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice house where I live when I am in Rome.
A room, a bed, some good food and my personal, very roman take on this city, that seems lazy and struggling but, deep underground, has the fire burning.
Good time and experiences, friendship if you are a good person :)
We will explore by bike a lot nice places, healthy life and Long conversations, probably quite a lot of questions about you, your life, your city and country as it's my main reason to be in Couchsurfing. I am not the FBI so don't worry :)
What I can share with guests is:

5. Dancing lessons, latin, swing, I like to dance, I go every week, I am not good, I don't care, I enjoy. If you like skills watch the pros on tv, I am in it for the rhythm and the fun, that is all!
6.I can provide my bike but u need be responsible if u break it or somebody steals it, or something happens, you need To REPAY MY BIKE OR FIX IT, BUT DEFINITELY GIVE ME THE BIKE BACK IN THE CONDITION I PROVIDED IT TO YOU.

📌 I don't expect you to COOK, but I always appreciate when couchsurfers buy drinks and food to enjoy together. ;) U NEED TO COOPERATE DAILY AT HOME WITH FOOD AND CLEANING, We are sharing meals at home (breakfast and dinner) so be creative if u want... please be healthy and not CHEAP....📌

IF YOU DON'T TAKE A SHOWER U CAN'T SLEEP ON THE MATRESS... I DON'T WANT ANY DISCUSSION ABOUT THAT, IS MY HOUSE, I DON'T WANT TO SOUND RUDE BUT I DON'T WANT BAD SMELL... (it's warm in ROMA during the summer, so showering and smelling fresh is extra important) and it is my place.
Please make your bed and pack your stuff properly in the morning, 📌📌always clean up after yourself, 📌
use coasters and placemats under your drinks and food, switch off the lights when you leave a room, etc.

At the same time if u come to Rome to hard party, and be on drugs or alcohol ... MY HOME Is NOT a PLACE FOR YOU just have this in mind....I can help you find activities and visits to make the most of your time in Rome.
I go out lot at night to walk, dance, meet friends and party, if the next day I don't have to wake up early. If i decide to go out you are welcome to join me. But, I don't go out every night till very late (so, please, don't expect me to wake up in the middle of the night to let you in if you do).

⚠️ Hosting a complete stranger takes a lot of time, energy and trust, so I only consider proper couch requests from surfers with a COMPLETED PROFILE.

⚠️ I usually accept initial requests for 1 NIGHT and preferably from solo travelers. If we get along fine, then you might be welcome to stay longer.
