About Me

Hello!! 👋I’m Luca, a 26 yo Italian guy living in Berlin. I’m about to start an Interrail trip around Europe, and I thought I would try travelling in a new way, meeting local friends with couchsurfing 😁 I’m very outgoing and joyful, and have a great flexibility when it comes to adapting to new situations. I love to meet new people and exchange stories and culture. That’s why I travel 🧳

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that travelling is all about the people you meet, the experiences and feeling connected to the culture. What’s the best way to escape the turistic beaten path other than knowing a local?

Couch-surfing is a great way to experience the life in a place how it really is and to explore local places

Interests

I have many hobbies and interests. Aside from music, partying and having fun, I like to work out (Yoga, Contemporary Dance, Animal Flow). I’m into Tai Chi and some other Chinese martial arts 🥋 , I’m trying to learn how to surf 🏄🏻‍♂️(at least decently 😅).

Lately I’m also getting into meditation, as I believe it’s a great way to develop focus and mental clarity

Music, Movies, and Books

Jovanotti is my fav artist, but I listen to many different genres (EDM, a lot of Techno, Pop, IndieRock, PunkRock 🎸)

I watched The Gladiator at least 20 times. I like cult movies 🍿 like The Godfather, The Dark Knight. Most recently I watched Dune II and I loved it 🤩

I just can’t choose between all the books that I read. From sci-fi novels, fantasy, personal growth or the classics. The best book I read last year is definitely “Also sprach Zarathustra” from Nietzsche. Incredible book 📕

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I organised a rave in the middle of the forest in France 🇫🇷,I got my Scuba diving licence in Thailand 🇹🇭 , I explored one on the largest caves in the world, in Phong Nha Vietnam 🇻🇳
