I’m Luca — Italian born and raised, currently living in Bologna, a lively and creative city in Northern Italy. By day I work as a shop assistant at Kik and as a full-time music producer and artist, always chasing sounds and stories wherever I go. 🎶

People say I’m friendly, respectful, easygoing, open-minded… and I’d like to think they’re right! 😄
I love what Couchsurfing is all about: connecting with people from all over the world. Even just by hosting, I get to “travel” through your stories, cultures, and good vibes.

A while ago I lived in Mannheim, Germany, for an Erasmus program at the Musikhochschule, where I studied music and got to immerse myself in a new culture (and lots of good beer 🍻). That experience opened my mind and made me fall in love with international exchange even more.

Here are a few things I love:
🎧 Music (alt-rock, electronic pop, punk rock, indie — basically anything well written!)
🏃‍♂️ Sports (running, swimming, cycling, volleyball, hiking — I try to stay active)
✈️ Travelling (every bit of free time is a chance to explore somewhere new)
🍜 Cooking (especially foreign food — if you show me your favorite recipe, I’m in!)
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Hanging out with friends and meeting new people.

As a musician, I love music in all its shapes. I'm a travel-addicted and always eager to see new places and meet new friends all around the globe with just my bagpack. I'm into sports and activities in the open air: jogging, cycling, swimming, trekking, beach volley and so on. I love reading (especially novels, both literary and contemporary authors) and writing whenever I can. Also, I just started learning about digital marketing, so if you're familiar with it, let's chat. I've always had a predisposition for languages and a great passion for history and different cultures than mine.
