About Me

Hey, my name is Luca. I'm 18 years old and did a year abroad in Serbia. Most likely I'll be a Physics student next Semester, near my hometown. In my time in Serbia I met so many lovely people that I decided that I want to visit them, my beloved friends. So I planned my route, but saw that they are not living that close together, what brought me to the idea to make a trip around Eastern Europe, to see the cool cities on the way, to have not too long times in a single train, bus, etc., and to use my aquired serbian skills (at least in the ex-yugoslavian countries). As you can see I'm a very chatty person, that never stops to talk, only sleep and food can hold me back. I'd describe myself as peaceful, serenely and sometimes a little bit lazy. I love to talk with persons, especially if I can learn something new from them, Impressions, experiences or even some skills. I love to discuss but try to always be fair and openminded. Ich spreche fließend deutsch, also I speak fluently english, govorim malo srpski et je parle un petit peu francais. For further information I recommend to ask me out or to see me live in action.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing, because I see a big chance in it. Mainly for two things: 1st, it's a way to meet local people, which can give me a great, different view on things and on the city, and 2nd, it's a good way to save some money and reduce the costs, essential for broke students. Furthermore, I think that the most people here are very openminded and modern, so I think we will have fun together. And maybe I make some friendships around whole europe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock, Pop, Jazz, Electro, literally everything with a good base
Movies: "National treasure", "Invincible" , "Inception",...
Books: Recently didn't read that many books, but the most of them have been about history, humanity, maths or econonomics, so not the usual stuff for entertainment

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Roughly 2 years ago I've been in Pula, Croatia with a part of my class. We had some strick program, like being in a marine biological center to learn something about the regional flora and fauna, or going to dive. Unfourtunately we always had to stand up early in the morning, but because I met always some cool people (e.g. from the Netherlands or Munich), I had no time to sleep that much, because we have been sitting next to the Sea the whole night. But within these days I saw, that my body is able to work with an average sleep time of 2 hours 40 minutes per day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always open for learning things, useful or useless, it just has to be funny. If it's something about food or music, I'm instantly highly interested.
I will always try to share my opinions and skills with others, things that come me immediately in mind are things like playing Saxophone or a bit Guitar (am learing it too at the moment), some cooking tricks or even some math tricks (they can be very useful).
