About Me

Hi, I am Luca and I am currently living in Modena (Italy). I am attending a Master's degree in Languages for Communication in International Enterprises and Organisations. I will soon move to Sydney as I have won a scholarship to study for 6 months at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). I will be in Sydney from March 2017 to August 2017.

I speak three languages, English and German and Italian but I am planning and willing to learn new ones.

I have visited several countries so far in which I both studied and worked. The most recent one is Cambridge (UK), where I served a 6-month internship in an English school.
I have several hobbies and I love, above all, meeting people the world over and discover hidden treasures in every city I visit.

Travelling makes me feel free and I hope I will be able to travel much once in Australia! I love music, I sing, I play the piano and the ukulele!

Interests

Over my childhood I developed many interests, probably thank to my parents who have always encouraged me to try new things, new sports and new environments. I love travelling and I feel pretty lucky now as my university path is giving me the chance to travel around the world and seeing stunning and remote places and, above all, meeting extraordinary people.

I love arts and music. There has always been something fascinating in music and in beautiful voices for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I tend not to have a "favorite something". There are things I like the most and things I do not like, but it has always been difficult for me to say something is my favorite, also because I feel that my tastes in relation with anything change continuously. I tend to be positively influenced by people, their style, their passions and I am always very open to learn what they can teach.

If I were though to recommend a book, that would be without a doubt: Jonathan Livingston Seagull. Get ready to fly high.
