About Me

I'm a college student originally from Romania who loves traveling, adventuring, and sharing experiences with other people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The most satisfying experiences I've had thus far in my life have been because of the people I was with, sometimes close friends and sometimes complete strangers. People and relationships are what make the world go 'round, and Couchsurfing is just another way to facilitate incredible interactions on a global scale :)

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One-liner: I started the annual TEDx event at my college!

Fun story (unrelated): At 5 PM on a Sunday, I spontaneously decided to go watch the launch of Elon Musk's first Falcon Heavy the next day in Orlando, Florida. My friends and I found $90 roundtrip tickets from Dallas to Orlando, so at 1 AM on Monday, we left Austin and drove 3.5 hours to Dallas. We barely made our flight, napped for a few hours, and then rented a suburban for 10 people when we got to Orlando. We drove 2 hours through heavy traffic to Cape Canaveral and posted up for the rocket launch. The launch kept getting delayed because of wind conditions, but the launch finally happened at the last possible moment that it could've on Monday; otherwise, it would have been delayed to the next day. I witnessed the launch of the rocket and two of the boosters landing side by side. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen and drew tears to my eyes. Then, my friends and I rushed back to the airport, barely made our flight once again, drove back to Austin from Dallas, and I was back home at the 24-hr mark on the dot.
