About Me

I am Luca, a 20 year old psychology student, at the moment studying with Erasmus in Groningen, the Netherlands. I am very open and interested in everything around me, especially people of course as you could guess from my studies. I would like to learn and experience as many things as possible, that's also why I love to travel. Of course besides receiving I hope I can give a lot of things to other people as well. I am very much into sports and nature and music also, I love hiking, skiing, dancing, doing yoga, running, playing the piano, but I am open for any kind of cultural/social activity as well. I am very easy going and can easily adjust to any kind of circumstance basically. This summer I did the El Camino in Spain, which made me even more open towards people and travelling, it was a wonderful experience, and made me be able to valuate my life even more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't have experience in couch-surfing yet, but since I travel quite much and has also hosted many friends who were travelling at my home, I kind of get the idea, and am looking forward to experiencing it. I also have some friends from whom I heard a lot of positive things about couch-surfing. Since I am not home until summer I can't be a host at the moment, but I find Budapest a wonderful city and I would love to share this experience with travelers who arrive there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, a favorite is always hard to choose, I like every movie and book that makes you think about the world, or other people’s or your own life. And there must be so many wonderful books that I haven't read and films that I haven't seen...
and talking of music: I think every kind can be wonderful!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hope I will do many, way more amazing things in my life than what I have done until now, but of those the Camino de Santiago experience was magical. Also doing volunteer-work for many years in child camps was something I loved and with what I could give wonderful time and memories for those attending the camps.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can teach Hungarian if anyone on earth wants to learn it...otherwise I can play the piano, or explain the basics of psychology. And I am always up for any fun activity or just an honest talk, or learning anything new! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my enthusiasm and curiosity about a lot of aspects of the world, my positive energy, happiness (most of the time), I can also cook some special Hungarian dishes :)
