About Me

CURRENT MISSION:

To combine many ways to travel low-cost continuing to meet people from all over the world, to find new experiences and cultures, to visit unknown places and learn as more as possible from all of this .

ABOUT ME:

I'm 27 years old and I graduated in "Social Work" at the University of Urbino on February 2013.
I play accordion and I used to play in some local bands of my hometown, recently I started busking on my own and I am preparing to get into jazz music.
I have a vegetarian diet and I'm interested in sustainable lifestyle and generally I prefere to learn "how to make" than "to buy".
I would like to travel a lot and open my mind learning everything I can

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe it's a wonderful way to approach to a new place: throught the meeting of locals you can know and do things that you couldn't experience in other ways but also other travellers can give you tips from their perspective and for sure make new important friendships too.
And if you are lucky you can find a nice CS event where to meet new people and you can find both, as locals as travelers from other countries... So that's why I'm on this website ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:

Some friends of mine are couchsurfers from a long time: my ex roommate was it too, so I've host and met some couchsurfers just before I officially joined couchsurfing.
Afterwards I had to come back in Fano living with my family and I haven't persuade them yet to host people by Couchsurfing... But I'm working on it!

Suddendly I've been hosted 3 times in Sweden, once in Milan (Italy) and once in Poznan (Poland). I've also met some couchfurfers through a nice events and everyone of them was a unique experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

About music, It depends on the period and at the moment I'm more on supporting good italian emerging bands, but also folk music about every places of this world and some kind of jazz.
What I can say is that I like to listen to different kind of music but I'm not into electronic music (except for good hybrids with other genres) and for sure I'm far from almost all "commercial" music

Books: In this case too I try to sort as better as I can my books and I prefere to read the ones that can leave me something to make some reflections on it: doesn't really matter thè topics

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On this summer I went with a friend of mine to visit a bit of Albania and to meet his relatives. After a week, my friend came back to work, but me, that I would not work so soon as him, I decided to make a longer travel back and after a little planning in two days that I spent in Tirana, I decided to hitchike in direction of Trieste. So, except from Podgorica to Kotor, I've been travelling in this way and sleeping or in a few hostels or just camping where I could. Then I also worked a few days a volunteer in exchange of food and accomodation in Pola (Croatia) and once in Trieste I took a bus to Bologna, and after a few days meeting some friends, I came back home.
It was a really low cost travel where I met a lot of nice persons just without expecting anything but living the moment. I've got many crazy stories about it

But it wasn't the first crazy trying of unusual travel, because with the same friend of mine I tried to go walking from Fano (PU, Italy) to Bologna (BO, Italy) just a few summers ago.
Actually he got a problem with his leg just after Rimini, so then we took a train to Bologna station. We have been some days there but then we hitchhiked back to Imola to try to complete our mission... Unluckily, after a walking day his leg started to hurt again and so we decided to come back to Bologna (hitchhiking again).
So at the end the journey changed but we stayed in Bologna for many days and, in some ways, it was amazing the same

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know if I can really teach something but I think I might share with others some knowledges of music (and basics of accordion and guitar), gardening and other things about plants (essication, making liquor or herbal tea), some mnemotechnics and something more.
Ah, I could explain also how to juggling with 3 balls and to do some tricks! And naturally I'd like to learn something else about the world of juggling. And I know how to make some balloon twistings or how to pack luggage in an interesting way.
I can make talk you about some website and opportunity to travel low cost but also about some interesting topics about italian culture and language (or properly teach you italian)

I'd like also to learn how to set my voice to sing (and to speak or act), to play some percussion instruments, to cook specialities and traditional food, many ways of meditation, self-making, gardening and harvest wild herbs, folk stuff of different cultures and a lot of other things!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help you with every kind of cleaning, cooking food or to fix things and with every kind of stuff that I'm able to do: I will be happy to express my gratitude as I can do it!
