About Me
I've been living and traveling around the world since 2010, when I decided to leave Italy to move to Ireland.
In Ireland I've spent 2 years, before moving to South America for 3 years and then to Australia and New Zealand for a couple of years longer.
Now I do the most amazing job in the world and I spend my days hiking or biking in wonderful plays around the world... for work!! =)
Many things happened in these 10 years.
I had the chance to meet wonderful people (and some other not that wonderful though ahah) and visit the 5 continents... very lucky guy!!!
After so many years I'm still very excited when I'm about to cross a border or visit a place for the first time, it's just a wonderful feeling, every time as strong as the first time.
I'm always looking forward to find out more about the place I visit and I always try to find out the way to escape from the tourist track to see where I really am.
One of my favourite quotes is " A stranger is a friend you haven't met yet!",
and "Replace fear of the unknown with curiosity!";
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, help travelers when I'm at home and try to enter into the culture of the place I visit.
Before CS I hosted friends in my place several times, but using CS I opened my house to people I had never seen before, and it was a great experience!!
Interests
I love traveling, writing my travel experience, reading and going for long walks in the mountain or in natural places. It makes me feel happy and more relaxed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Reach the top of the volcan Cotopaxi at 5898 mt altitude, in Ecuador.
Camping alone on a mountain in Ecuador at 4000mt altitude after a long walk in the Cajas National Park, near Cuenca, Ecuador
Sailing the Amazon (from Manaus, Brasil, to Yurimagua, Perù), staying on a small cargo boat for 2 weeks sleeping on a hammock, enjoying the landscapes, the clean air and the chat with the "indigenuous people".
The Annapurna circuit. Spending 2 weeks hiking on the Himalayas, reaching 5416 mt altitude is one the best things can happen in someone life... if you don't get sick! :p
It was a great experience that I recomend to everyone who loves mountains and nature
