Overview
About Me
Ital American guy who grew up in the streets of Rome but since then have moved around quite a bit from high school onwards for mix of travels, charity work, work and studies. Still call Rome home but funnily enough was actually born in Oklahoma, the land of Hanson and where Chandler once lived. Started my own business in analytics 2-3 years ago with few friends which went great but about to start on new adventure working in a new start up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like travelling in small groups or alone because I feel that gives you the most opportunities to meet people and truly open up. I don't like rushing through trips and would prefer to do fewer cities or places, but get to know the small quirks of the places or just meet people with a different perspective.
Interests
I generally put all my time and money into travelling. Whether thats hikes just outside the city or long trips to Japan (which I'm just about to embark upon). I'm recently rediscovering my own country of Italy since sometimes so easy to travel abroad and you overlook all the things you have right close to home.

Music, Movies, and Books
I generally like something that makes me laugh out loud, great plot or think about things in a different way although sometimes on Sunday just an easy movie will do!
I also tend to binge watch / read things from a given country if I'm planning a decent stint in the country (e.g. saw few Japanese docs like: Jiro dreams of sush, chronicle of a sumo wrestler etc and now reading Norwegian Wood by Murakame).
Some movie favs: Her, Into The Wild, Donnie Darko
Some fav books: Catch-22, Siddhartha, 4- hour work week, Catcher in the Rye
Some tvs and documentaries: anything Louis Theroux, Game of Thrones, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Narcos, Cowboy Beebop
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in Buenos Aires for 4 months whilst helping out at microcredit enterprise. Living there was both fun, rewarding and just overall great place to meet really caring and open people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to teach any English or Italian (also Italian hand gestures!). Also happy to come along to play or try out any sports together or even just a jog around.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Can always cook up a decent plate of pasta so you can get a taste of Italy far from home.
