About Me

SEPTEMBER 2017 UPDATE

I'm not anymore just Luca, now we are Luca and Francesca from Italy, an italian couple travelling through Asia for 10 months. We already been around ten countries in 7 months, most land crossing (just few flights in the whole trip): we started our trip in India, then Nepal, Burma, Thai, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia and right now in Vietnam, waiting for chinese and mongolian visa stamp on our passport, hopefully! Our plan for the last 3 months is going back home on a land route of about 15.000 km through China, Mongolia, Russia, Estonian, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and finally, Italy.
We'd really appreciate any meeting while getting back home on the longest route possible!

CURRENT MISSION - Don't care about my current mission.
PHILOSOPHY - Looking for slowly and enjoying life.
ABOUT ME - That's what people call "easygoing"

I was born 2 february 1987, I live for three years up in the Tuscany mountains, in a tiny village of 10 people in a small house surrounded by wild woods, animals and a deep silence. Before I lived in Florence, enjoying student-life in a house with great flatmates who let me know couchsurfing and many couchsurfers. I have two amazing parents still living in the town I came from, one of the few places in the world I don't like at all. I begin to love and love travelling since my first escape from this place and I make my best to be around most of my time. My best trip was six months travelling alone and by ground through Sri Lanka, India, Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet and Kashmir. I'm a writer because when I was young anyone else were already playing guitar, perhaps my real mission is writing something could live more than my body and in the free time from writing I'm a clinical psychologist in a drug abuse/mental health community. I love to collaborate with other artists for performance across poetry, music and visual arts and some of those you look for on YouTube. Then: blablabla...
My website is www.carusopascoski.com.
My favourite quote is: "No guru, no method, no teacher" (Van Morrison)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Great flatmates let me know couchsurfing and many couchsurfers. I hosted many-many nice people with my housemate, an official and amazing couchsurfer.

Interests

Literature - I wrote two books of poems, one travel diary about a 6 month trip alone, by ground and through Sri Lanka, India, Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet and Kashmir and some short novels. You coul read those and comments on those on many magazines and periodical or put a look on my works at my website www.carusopascoski.com. I read a lot for years and Pessoa, Rimbaud, Borges, Mishima, Rilke, Carnevali, Blake and many-many others are these from which I take my inspiration.

Music - I love especially those genres: Songwriting, Electronic, Psychedelia, Krautrock, Free Jazz. I'm listening and writing for 10 years about any kind of music on magazines (especially Impatto Sonoro), I published a book about an italian 80s punk band called Franti and I'm writing others about music and musicians.

Cinema - I love watching movies and I'm writing about movies on an magazine called CineFatti. Fellini, Herzog, Lynch, Scorsese, Tarkovskij are some of my favourites.

And many else, but those are my greatest interests.
We could talk a lot about it, I am a good talker and listener especially after one glass of wine.
