About Me
Hi!
We are Luca and Lotti. We are a couple and would like to host travellers and couchsurf ourselves.
I (Luca) just recently got a BA in Philosophy and History and now changed my study subject slightly and instead of pursuing a masters degree decided to get a degree in electrical engineering. I love to cook (and will probably do so for you), make puns, read really bad sci-fi novels and do LARP in my spare time. I did quite a lot of travelling and backpacking in my early twenties and I'd like to start again.
Lotti: I'm currently studying medicine and I want to be a psychiatrist. I also enjoy cooking, love cats, dogs, dwarf sheeps and goats and I'm a real true crime nerd.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We would like to meet new people, hear funny stories and have a good laugh with guests from all over the world.
Luca: And I would also love to learn a dish from your country or culture! I have a well stocked kitchen and if you would like to show me something more exotic that would be no problem! Just send me a recipe list and I'll go shopping in advance.
Lotti: I'd also love to practice my spanish! Since I returned from Mexico I had hardly any opportunity to speak it and I kinda miss it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled alone 2 months through New Zealand by car, I went hiking, parachuting, kayaking and made lots of friends and amazing memories.
I did several backpacking trips:
Amsterdam-Brussels-Paris-Barcelona-Cadiz-Nizza-Monaco-Rome-Venice-Vienna-Budapest-Prague
Talinn-Helsinki-Riga-Vilnius-Warsaw
Budapest-Bukarest-Sofia-Athens-Naples-Tuscany-Florence
Lotti spent a year in mexico and backpacked through a lot of South America.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I always liked about travelling and couchsurfing is the possibility to get to know people from other cultures and learn about their perspectives and views on life.
I made the experience that it's a fallacy to assume that people from different countries are similar just because we speak the same language and are able to talk to each other. But these differences are interesting and fascinating and the shared language enables us to communicate these.
Oh I also make fantastic pizza (or so I'm told). I can show you how.
