About Me

Hello,
I'm an exchange student currently living in Marseille, France. I'd really like to enjoy this experience the most, travelling around Europe as much as I can. I'm very open about getting to know new people from different cultures and learn their way of life, traditions and day-to-day activities.
My first language is Portuguese, and I speak English and French fluently. Currently trying to learn Italian (need some practice thought) and as a good Portuguese speaker I can understand Spanish, if they talk slowly :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to have a deeper contact with the culture in the places I visit, staying with locals and learning about how they think and live. For me, that can be a lot more fun than staying isolated in a hotel!

Interests

I'm really a big fan of different sports, and any game that stands out from the traditional (soccer, basketball...) catches my interest instantly
I love to read, specially foreign books in their own languages if I speak them. (any books recommendations btw?)
Generally, I like to travel a lot and go to those small cities off the beaten path and just enjoying nature and local culture

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing? The one that was most impressive to me was drinking beer in a hostel in Berlin, with Mexicans, French, Italians and an Australian. Very chaotic but fun experience. And still managed to understand all those languages and accents :)
