Hi! I’m Lucas Amaral, a software developer and entrepreneur from Brazil.

I currently live in Florianópolis, but I’m always on the lookout for new adventures and cultural experiences. I’m 33 years old and passionate about technology, travel, and connecting with new cultures. I work remotely as a programmer, which allows me to explore different places around the world while continuing with my projects.

Aside from technology, I love nature and, whenever possible, I’m at the beach or exploring trails. I have a deep interest in spirituality and sexuality, and I enjoy engaging in meaningful conversations about these topics. I also love being surrounded by people, hearing their stories, and learning from them.

I’m in a phase where I want to connect more with other cultures, especially in Latin America. I enjoy sharing experiences, whether it’s cooking a meal together, playing a game, or simply exchanging ideas about life.

On Couchsurfing, I’m looking for people who are open to sharing a bit of their culture, their stories, and, of course, willing to make new friends. I’m easygoing, always ready to help out, and I highly value good connections.

I’m excited to meet amazing people and create unforgettable memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One Amazing Thing I've Done: I embarked on a solo backpacking trip across South America, exploring remote areas, immersing myself in local cultures, and connecting with incredible people along the way. One of the highlights was hiking to Machu Picchu, where I witnessed a breathtaking sunrise over the ancient ruins—an experience that deeply enriched my perspective on life and travel.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I’m passionate about technology and love sharing my knowledge in software development, especially in web and app development. If you’re interested in learning about coding, cloud computing, or digital entrepreneurship, I’d be happy to teach you the basics or help you with your projects. I can also share tips on responsive design and how to create websites that look great on any device.

Learn:

I’m particularly interested in improving my language skills, so I’m open to practicing English, Spanish, or learning a few phrases in any other language you speak. I also want to learn more about different approaches to spirituality and self-improvement from diverse cultures.
