About Me
Hey there, I'm Lucas! Currently studying science at university and working as a writer in Melbourne, Australia.
I will be in Japan from the 2nd of November - 17th of December. I'm looking for a place to stay in Tokyo between 2/11/15 - 29/11/15, from the 29th onwards I'll be staying with my friends elsewhere . Currently my Japanese is very bad so I mainly communicate with English; I intend on changing that!
I will be working in Asakusa at my friend's cafe & bar. Therefore I will be coming home and leaving often at odd times so that may be inconvenient for some people.
Although I will be busy a lot of the time, I would be happy to hang out when I have free time ^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling to foreign countries is a unique and life changing experience, many of my fondest memories are of my time spent abroad. Couch surfing provides experiences and opportunities that you could not find at a hotel and I think that staying with the people who live in foreign countries is the best way to experience them.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite author is Stephen King, out of all his books my favourites would have to be... Duma Key, Insomnia or The Dark Tower series.
My favourite movies include Pulp Fiction, Pan's Labyrinth, Interstellar, Django, 7 Pounds, Alien 1 & 2 and the old Star Wars movies.
I love a lot of music, I don't even know where to start... Explosions in the Sky, Arnor Dan, Phoria, Oh Wonder, Sigur Ros, The Glitch Mob, Nujabes and Daft Punk are a few I listen to often.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going on exchange to America was definitely an amazing experience for me!
Teach, Learn, Share
To put it simply, I want to experience everything that comes with a foreign country... The language, the food, the culture and of course the interests of the people I meet. Basically I want to learn about everything!
Likewise, I enjoy teaching and sharing my own interests. English, Australian culture and Western cooking as well as my own hobbies and interests are some of the things I can share with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My language, culture and interests; I have had experience in teaching English to foreign students and I would be more than happy to help you improve your own English abilities.
I love cooking and I'd be more than happy to cook for you when I'm around and to help you prepare meals. I'd also be happy to shout you dinner & drinks if we went out.
Friendship! Of course if you're not providing board to interact with your guests then I'll do my best to not bother you. However I want to socialise and meet new people when I go overseas!
