About Me

24-year-old ebullient lefty pitcher. On a voracious quest to grow and engage life fully. Without attachment, illusion, and ego.

Right now I do not have my own place to call home. As of April, I will be living in an apartment outside of Dortmund, Germany and will most likely be able to host people from the coachsurfing community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the short-term, I am looking for a place to stay in Melbourne from now until March 14th.

In the long-term, I hope to have my own place that I can share with travelers as well as engage with the community to make traveling more immersive, engaging, and economical. Traveling has completely transformed my paradigms and meeting people who share my interest in exploring our wonderful planet will always be a passion of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my software job in Madison, WI, USA in order to pursue my dream of playing baseball professionally after over a year away from the game (July 2016 -> NOW)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot to learn.

If you want to learn how to throw a baseball, back squat with immaculate form, make some delicious guacamole, or learn why Granada is the most beautiful city in Spain, I'm your guy.

Share: my experiences. I'd like to become a better storyteller. Mine aren't any more special than the next person, though. We all have amazing stories to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A positive attitude.
An overall friendliness.
A bunch of consciousness and courtesy.
Presence, empathy (my empathetic listening skills are a massive work in progress though), and an open mind.
Some money if you want.
Amazing guac.
Energy.
