Overview
About Me
I'd like to call myself a world citizen, but for now let's be modest and admit I'm a lot less than that.
I was born in São Paulo. At university I learned German and worked at a library. After I graduated I got a job as an English teacher and translator. Afterwards I spent a couple of months traveling around Germany and France.
I've lived in Germany for 5 months and I've also lived a year in Brussels. I can speak German quite well but pardonez my French!
While traveling I like to visit museums and beautiful places. I enjoy all kinds of artistry. Political discussions are welcome, if they are neither fanatic nor radically oriented.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing gives us a sense of belonging and community.
While living as an expat I think life sometimes can be tricky and lonely. However it doesn't have to be so... There's always the possibility to meet new people, enjoy good moments, share ideas and experiences, no matter where you are living or visiting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
it's difficult to choose one:
danced to Brazilian street carnaval
chilled on Rio de Janeiro's beaches
watched the sunset across the Amazon River
gone to a humble and fantastic wedding cerimony on the Marajó Island
lived in a tree house on the Marajó Island
seen Albrecht Dürer's paitings on a museum wall
been to small castles in Northern Germany
been to WG-parties in Berlin
walked through Paris alone late at night
walked through Brussels alone late at night
smoked pot amidst Amsterdam harbours
seen the Parliament Houses in Brasilia and Brussels
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn about the history of the places I visit. I like history and art museums. I have a personal inclination towards German and Flemish Reinassance, this is why I love traveling to Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands.
I'm a teacher so I find it easy to talk about different issues and assess the way how people think. I enjoy listening rather than speaking.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've always had very interesting conversations with my hosts! I'm highly adaptable to different circumstances, it all depends on the atmosphere, so that we create the environment and share it with people around. As you can tell I'm a very optimistic person :D and if I'm coming from Belgium it is possible for me to bring beer over :D
