Kon'nichiwa!

We are Lucas and Marina. We are two 30-something Canadians who are quiet, respectful, and clean. Lucas is a Civil Engineer and has been taking Japanese lessons for a few weeks - he would love to practice with you! :) Marina is an Occupational Therapist and in school to become a Counsellor. She loves to sing and ride her bike.

We will be traveling to Japan from October 5 to October 19.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're excited to meet new people, and maybe get some advice and guidance when we arrive in Japan. We've found that spending time exploring a city with new people is a great way to get to know them, and we've built some strong friendships in the past this way. Marina has also hosted couch surfers in the past, and was happy to return the favour after she returned from couch surfing during her travels.

We can share stories, Canadian travel recommendations, and if we're surfing on your couch, we're open to helping you out with whatever you might need! When we're back in Canada, we're open to returning the favour and offering a couch to fellow surfers.
