About Me

MAYBE ACCEPTING GUESTS. Take your chance :)

Overall I am friendly, open-minded, easygoing and quite flexible. I am passionate about the things I like, and everyday I try to learn something new. One of the first things you will notice is that I talk a lot. Another remarkable characteristic is that I hardly ever feel awkward or ashamed in any situation. I can be a bit nerd sometimes. I really fancy talking to random people I don't know. My friends know that I am up for everything. My mother thinks I am beautiful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a great opportunity to get to know people. I believe it is a social network more real than the others, because you will really know and share you life with the person you connect with. I also like travelling, and I know how good it is when you can to save up to enjoy the place more. The things that I do, the people I like and that places I dwell are part of me.

Interests

Serotonin. It is the neurotransmitter of peacefulness, harmony and joy. Strangely enough, my brain seems to produce serotonin in lots of situations. I am as fulfilled and happy to spend the whole day sleeping as I am to go partying till dawn. I have always truly enjoyed family parties, family meetings and travelling with my family. I like to discover and explore. I am all up for equality and justice. Hence, I may have strong opinions and attitudes to fight against racism, classism, sexism, homophobia and bigotry in general. I am Christian.
I don't take food or sleep for granted, so I will never refuse them oportunities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music= No restrictions. I love Brazilian Music, especially samba. I recently found out I like indie pop. I have songs in my playlist that I don't speak the lyrics language. Other songs with no lyrics at all.
Films= Le Petit Nicolas, Central do Brasil, O Auto da Compadecida, Hair, Forrest Gump, Todo Sobre Mi Madre...the ending scene of the film Gloria(2013) is sublime.
Books= O Cortiço, Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas, The Raven, La Tour du Monde en 80 Jours, O Pequeno Príncipe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not to brag about, but I have saved some lives... (can't think of anything greater than that)

Teach, Learn, Share

I study Veterinary Medicine and Animal Behaviour, so I can have really good talks about pretty much anything related to animals :D I am the person with whom you can discuss politics, religion and football. Seriously, I have lots of things to say and even more to learn about those topics. I also love languages, so I will try to catch something of your language if is one that I don't know. I talk a lot, so sharing my thoughts and expericences is something you would expect from me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always up for a good talk, and I can share with guests my preferences as places to go and things to do. In a big touristic city like Rio I can be the very helpful local guy, even if I don't host you or if we don't get to spend time together.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
