About Me

I’ve recently graduated university in the UK, and currently travelling in Mexico for a few months. I love meeting other people and learning from them! I particularly enjoy encountering viewpoints that are different to my own as they challenge my way of thinking.

One of my favourite things to do when travelling (particularly in cities) is to just wander the streets with no particular destination in mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing to explore new places and to interact with to the people who live there. I want to learn about the places I travel, and for me this is one of the best ways to do that.

Interests

My interests are wide ranging. I play musical instruments - bagpipes, fiddle, recorder , and I’m learning the harmonica; I love listening to live music, especially when travelling! I love to read, climb, walk, exercise and explore more generally. I’m interested in the world around me and try to learn as much as I can wherever I go.

I’m also interested in urbanism, environmentalism and communities :))

I know a bit about gardening - and I always love to help out wherever I can, having volunteered on local farms for the past 10 years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook a little bit - some Italian dishes ( I’m half Italian) and lentils/curries. I’m also more than happy to share my culture.
