About Me

Hello salut hola kiubo ciao epa!

I've been traveling around the world - well, more like living around the world - for a few years now and want to keep discovering, exploring, and meeting fun friends as my journey continues.

I'm half-Ecuadorian, half-Uruguayan, and my new base for the next few years will be Paris (I'll be working on a Masters in Social Policy and probably hosting quite a few of you at my tiny chambre de bonne). I don't speak much French though, so I'm always looking for conversation partners with a great deal of patience and good humor haha

Things I'm passionate about:

- Travel the world and the seven seas (ocean travel coming up as soon as I hitch a ride on a sailboat - any takers?)
- Nature (being in it, swimming in it, exploring it, sleeping on it hahaha)
- All things Queer
- Picnicking / relaxing in comfortable horizontal surfaces (haha!)
- Environmental sustainability / social responsibility
- Literature / Film / Art / Culture / Wine / Beer / Other really snobby-sounding things

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For some reason, every time I've couchsurfed has been organized through a friend's account, while I lay slouched on the side. It's time to change that!

I'd like to meet people from the world over and explore new ideas and perspectives (over a beer or two, or a salad, or a barefoot walk close to a river, or simply over whatever you'd like! haha).

Also - I'm quite hyperactive and always want to be hanging out or doing something, so couchsurfing helps ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't like this question. It encourages me to be less modest and I like being modest.

But... hmmm... amazing thing I've done? I've had the opportunity to travel, meet people, learn as I go - I've been lost in mountains, swam in crystal-clear pools, played with fantastic beasts (pun pun pun), danced all night around burning pyres, slept here and there (and at beaches, and gardens, and not-so-comfortable-or-horizontal surfaces!), found a calling (and lost it, and found it, and lost it, and found it), and connected with people that have helped me become a better person.

I guess that's not "one thing," but it's definitely amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not an expert cook, but I love cooking and sharing my food with people (I can cook delicious quesadillas which I hope you'll be able to try!). I can also help around the house - help you clean a bit, if you want

I'll share as much as I can.
