About Me

I´m a 25 year-old traveler who recently finished his degree in Business Administration. I´ve already lived abroad, in a shared flat, with many guests coming and going, so I know how delicate the matter of sharing your home can be. As to say something possitive about myself, I´m clean, respectful, easy-going, sociable, chilled, adventurous and spontaneous (if you consider those qualities to be a good thing haha).

I´ve always liked to travel on my own, but in recent trips I´ve found the joy of making new friends in every place I visit. I can understand that many people on this website probably works and can´t share lots of moments with their guests, but heck, who doesn´t like a beer or a cocktail with a friend at some point of the week?

Now, getting to a more personal level, I´m the kind of person who lives quite busy back at home. I lived a whole year in Spain during 2013, and it was the happiest time of my life so far. After I came back in 2014, I realized what my objetive in life was, and started working during the daytime and going to university at night (in order to finally get my degree). It´s been a rough three years but now i´m finally free to really start living and working on what i want. I believe that the sole reason of our existence here on earth is to get to know ourselves, in order to achieve true hapiness, and that hapiness can only be gained by helping other people somehow (at least, that´s my opinion on the subject). If life is kind towards me, someday, i´ll have my own business.

Thanks for taking the time to read this “About me” description, I hope we meet at some point!

Lucas

P.S : I promise I won´t be such a drag when we meet haha. I´m much more fun in person!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to start travelling in a way that trascends the monetary transaction of paying a hotel/tour/etc and being given a tested package of experiences.

I want to connect with people, share stories, enrich myself with other´s experiences and share my own.

It may sound a bit utopic, but i guess that´s sort of the point of this website, isn´t it?

Music, Movies, and Books

Although i love music, I don´t really have a favourite style. I do love to sing though, so don´t freak out if you listen to me singing in the shower haha.

About books, I really like Hemingway, Chuck Palahniuk, Horacio Quiroga, Julio Cortazar and a few others. But honestly, I haven´t read anything in a while because of school.

Finally, I love movies and tv shows. The last serie I finished was Mad Men, and am still watching Game of thrones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did my first solo trip back when i was 16, to Folkestone (Kent, UK). Well, basically it was arranged by my school, and i went with a group of 12 other teenagers, and we had an adult come with us, and an english school to attend. But yeah...It was preety cool.

What I Can Share with Hosts
