Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first I suscribed to couchsurfing because I wanted to go abroad, especially in UK and North European countries.
But then a lot of my friend, which were on couchsurfing, brought fantastic people into my life. So i thought this was a really good thing to do, in order to meet new people, new cultures, new friends ? :)

Interests

I'm a music lover, all kinds of music.
From Marcel Dettmann to Method Man, Nirvana to Hilight tribe, Fat Freddy's Drop to Bonobo, I think i have a wide range musical taste, and i'm always eager to discover new music from all horizons.

I've been playing drums since 2006 also !

I like to go out with my friends and experience adventures

I like to cook !
Pies, pasta, pretzels, smoothies, sweet potatoe fries... Ok I'm hungry now :D

I think of myself to be open minded, so i like to discuss with anyone about anything: the universe, penguins, politics in spain, your past lover, swedish pastry, my fears and hopes for the future, life !

I like sports, climbing for example, most of the time in a climbing room but i'd like to climb on rocks also. I wish i could learn hiphop dance. I'm currently learning skateboard i can assure you this a funny thing to watch :D.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like science fiction books and movies in general, for example i think Asimov's work is beyond genius for its foresightedness about the evolution of today's society.
Althought, my favorite movie is not a science fiction one, but Into the wild. The story of Christopher Jonhson McCandless is beautiful, both sad and happy. He was one of my teenage hero for his willpower, his seek for truth. Really a moving movie.
I've talked about music earlier, but if i had to chose one, it would be "Black sands" from Bonobo's eponym album"black sands".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not really something i've done, but something i've witnessed.
I went on a holliday road trip in the USA as i was 17 in the west part of the country. One night we were camping in the death valley and as i looked up in the sky, i noticed a white starry veil. Someone then told me it was our galaxy, the milky way : I was shocked, this was the first time I saw it with my bare eyes. So i laid on the ground and starred at the sky, with only the sound of rattlesnakes and my fast beating heart out of joy and excitement, i felt complete, as a tiny part of the universe we live in.

I'd like to learn how to draw, paint, sculpt or photography.
