About Me

I'm a student and self-proclaimed artist currently living in Montreal. Great fan of music, arts, cultures and, of course, travelling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a big fan of travel and I am truly interested in meeting new people along the way and making new friends!

Interests

I love to play music, listen to it, read and paint. I also really love theatre and being on the stage. The outdoors is something I hold close to my heart, I've played football, soccer, badminton and cross-country running. I like to go rock-climbing, take a hike or just head to the gym. Although it all seems pretty active, I don't mind chilling out either.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like every type of music really, I have a very vast arsenal of genres that I adore. Favourite bands would probably include Mother Mother, Arctic Monkeys, etc. As for books, I don't know which I prefer, bit I am reading an interesting one at the moment named Walden and Civil Disobediance by Henry David Thoreau. I like Into the Wild, great movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The thing I am the proudest of would be the time I went to live in Nicaragua for nearly a month in families to help plant trees and let the plant population regrow. All the families were entirely spanish and since I didn't have a word of spanish in me (I knew what pollo meant) it was a great learning experience. Above that, I was able to creat a play for the young students with the help of my other colleagues. The play was also entirely in spanish which was really an accomplishement. That month alone, I lived more than I ever lived for the past 10 years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, I hope I can share some interesting stories about where I come from and where I've been while also receiving the same type of stories. As a bonus, if I have my guitar with me, I'll be happy to play a couple songs and laugh it out :)
