About Me

Bonjour !

I'm pretty bad at this exercise but I'll try anyway !

I'm a french guy studying biology because I always have been curious about my surroundings - biodiversity and ecology - and this has been the best way I found to unravel those misteries !

Always smiling, I am always craving to discover new things ! I think we can say that I'm easy-going and really curious !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people while is always the opportunity to learn something new, about yourself and about the world. New cultures, new ways of thinking are always fantastic to discover, and connect with unknown people is the best way to do it.

Music, Movies, and Books

So much to write..!

I really love movies, yet I still lack a lot of knowledge about old ones.. I can be both a fanboy with sagas as well as into more author movies. Directing and all the associated filming techniques always made me dream, and I'm still trying to learn everything about film making.

I like music but as opposed to the movies, I know nothing about it. Inde, pop are more my style, though classical or movie-themed ones are always appreciated to !

I have been quite a lot into fantasy books like J.R.R. Tolkien or Christopher Paolini pieces, but now my reading is more toward sciences (Kahneman, Dawkins, Hawkins, Darwin). Yet my favorite books will still remain two french classics of completely opposite styles "Le lys dans la vallée - Balzac" and "Les Fleurs du Mal - Baudelaire"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being brave enough to leave my country and my family to study and leave one year abroad in Norway 🇳🇴. I have discover so many things, done stuff that I couldn't imagine and met amazing friends - now family - from all over the world. It also gave me the traveling virus, which is a good one, definitely.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share with you a bit of our French culture, language and gastronomy or also some facts about biology in general ! (I'm still really fun at parties ! I swear !! I hope..!)

Even though I'm bad at it, I've always been inclined to learn new languages, cultures and traditions, as well as typical recipes !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything I know, about anything you want, which is not much, but still !

It can also be a coffee or a beer downtown. Some advice to discover my (hometown and study) cities and all the beautiful things around !
