I attended a stranger's 80th birthday party in Oakland. Me and my cousin were walking around the neighborhood, when we heard music drifting around. We followed the jazz music until we saw a group of people in a backyard. They invited us in, and we learned it was an 80th birthday party. The birthday girl's children had flown in from all over the country, and spent the evening singing, rapping, and reading poetry to her. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever been a part of, and is an incredible memory.
