Overview
About Me
I am a student studying abroad in Luxembourg through my university's branch campus program. I am trying to travel and see as much of Europe as possible in the short semester that I have here. I am a clean person and I like meeting new people. It takes me a short time to warm up to people, but once I do I can talk your ear off. I love to hear people's life stories and experiences. I am a very good listener and easy-going.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have not had a couchsurfing experience yet, but other people in my study abroad program strongly suggest it because they learn so much about themselves and others. I may be traveling separately from groups of students that I meet up with in different cities, so I need a place to stay for nights that I am not with them. That does not mean that I would not want to spend time getting to know my host. I really want to learn about the culture and the people in each place that I go, that is the whole reason that I am studying abroad!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything but country and female opera. My favorites are indie/alternative/folk rock, southern/blues rock, and electronic dance/house.
Movies: I like most movies that I have seen. I cannot think of a movie I do not like off of the top of my head. My favorites are The Shawshank Redemption, Back to the Future trilogy, and Big Fish.
Books: I do not read that much, but I generally like stories that are non-fiction. Biographies tend to interest me the most. My favorites are How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, Night by Elie Wiesel, and A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked up the French Pyrenees without any water or hiking gear. Yeah, it was stupid, but hey, it was amazing to me...
