About Me

Hey hey, after while I'm using the app again. Is not the best time to travel, huh?!

I'm currently living in Salvador, Bahia, back in Brasil. Let's have a chat ;)

______

Heyy,

I'm hitting the world again. There are loads of information below.

I'm not really into social media, so don't expect to me be posting lot of things in a blog or Instagram. I prefer to keep my focus on people than be distracted with a camera or phone.

I'm very open-minded and curious, but always respectful. And i expect the same return. I can talk about pretty much everything, even about space and time, black holes, if it fits for you. But i also know we always need a time for ourselves. Oh, this is important, i can't talk about stars signs, i'm shit about it!
I often stop what i'm doing to watch and appreciate the moment for a little time. Could be my birthday, tons of my friends, alcohol, etc, i often stop to watch that moment. Because i think it's something you gonna record for your life over than "just another party". It goes for everything!! Not sure if i explained pretty well, but okay....

Some people says i look as a "bad boy", but i always cry watching Lion King.

I'm also pretty active, i can go for hikings, pools, gym, any sport (i'm brazilian, but i'm the worst playing soccer), movies, beach, a walk during the evening (i love it), sunsets, sunrises, work meetings, friends meetings, damn.. i can go everywhere. BUT, after a while travelling you sometimes need a break. Some people understands me, some loses me here, but you need a little break you know?! Chill down for at least an day, watch a Netflix, the episodes you lost past few weeks, have some nice food, call your mom (i speak with mine once a month): "hey i'm alive", care about yourself better, these things.

Anyway, if i'm around, would be lovely to at least we've a chat and share few smiles.

See ya!

PHILOSOPHY

Seize everything you are living! Smile, hug, kiss, fall in love, don't regret about anything, close your eyes and feel the sublime sensation of dancing in the darkness! Barefoot! Life is too short and the world too small, you never know. If the life says to you 'jump', just do it! But always know your limit, because sometimes is good to stop.

Know yourself, live what you can live and smile! Always!

:)

TIPS****:

You guys landing here, in the airpoirt have a lot of people walking and asking if you wanna change money, because the rate is better, "without taxes", etc. Don't trust on them, most are just trying to be smarter than you. Go to the right exchange window;

Taxis are the worst, a lot of times they drive in longer ways or high rpm to get more money, give preference to Uber, always;

Best thing in Brasil: Brazilians!

We don't speak spanish, but portuguese! (Some people don't know)

We're always delayed! Always! At least 15min of tolerance for everything;

You will be referred as "gringo", it means 'foreigner';

Try "Paçoca" (It's a must!);

Some people says it's over, but we still clapping for the sunset;

Welcome to Brasil!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, countries, cultures. We grow as person better together. And i hate meet places from the internet, tourist things, etc... Again, i hate tourist stuffs!

Interests

I wanna see the world by differents views.

I love sitting and chatting in cafes/bars. Especilly from where i can watch the life go by. Could be even on a bench of the square. You can meet amazing people and hear her stories, and sometimes, most of times, is just a "regular people". No cliches, just people with amazing stories. This is priceless.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have insomnia, so i'm always watching something, the bad and good movies/series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got caughted by a storm in Iceland when i was alone after 5-day trek (i made in 2) that made me reflect about life, at the end i managed to hitchhike to the city. I think this is amazing, yes!
I went to Machu Picchu by Salkantay Trail and by myself (no guides) after just 2 weeks of preparations
Hitchhiked over than 6000km
Went from Serbia to Munich by hitchhiking in just one day and 4 rides (Thanks guys).
I found llamas in Germany doing a random walk.
Had a big accident - look at the scars - and after that won a lot of medals in swimming (long story...)

Teach, Learn, Share

I trully believe that people are nice!! You don't have to travel to realize it, but as more i do, more and more i see it. And many people don't believe... I can understand with the world we live in and all those going on. But still, people are nice! If we can share this mindset, we can make a better world to live.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot, i can cook too! Please, while i'm travelling, doing hitchhiking everywhere, camping anywhere, I'm always eating pasta. Pasta with tabasco (sometimes doesn't has sauce or even salt). And we can share beer (it's often in Brasil).
But the best are the stories...
