I'm an international student from Timor-Leste with big dreams! I've been pursuing my passion for becoming a Nutritionist at West Virginia University. The world of food and its impact on well-being fascinates me, and I can't get enough of it.

Apart from my studies, I'm all about the thrill of playing basketball and exploring new places. I'm known for being open-minded and always up for a good time. My friends describe me as "very energetic when the music is on," and they're absolutely right!

As I continue on this incredible journey, I'm determined to soak up every single moment without any regrets. I live by the Latin words "Carpe Diem" and love embracing new experiences, meeting people, making friends, and marveling at the beauty of our planet. Coming from the countryside, I find the vibrant energy of the city absolutely exhilarating.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the "Never give up" spirit inside me, which made me fall two times and get back up three times. I applied for a scholarship twice and was rejected, but I didn't give up. The third time I applied, I finally got it, and now I'm living in a land of opportunity, pursuing my dream.

On another note, during my trip to Vegas, Nevada, something unexpected and exciting happened. My friend Bene and I had planned to spend the night in Vegas, but we couldn't find a place to stay. Instead of giving up, we left our backpacks at the airport and decided to live in the moment. We got dressed, hit the club, and danced the night away until 6 in the morning. We then caught a bus to the airport and made it to our flight to San Francisco at 9 AM. It was a wild adventure and definitely one for the books!
