About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the world a better place.
ABOUT ME
None of my friends would go as far as to call me an extrovert but I am very much a people-person. I love getting to know people - what they are interested in, where they have been, who they have been, what they think they are going to do next.
I like a good times, walks, talks, histories, museums, bars, bookstores, love stories and life stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the love of travel and people.
Interests
Humanity and the humanities are my playgrounds. Once upon a time I thought I was an activist. Now I think I want to write. I'd like to incorporate both in my adult life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Modern and Postmodern.
Books: David Foster Wallace, Zadie Smith, Toni Morrison, James Baldwin, Jeanette Winterson, Roberto Bolano, Junot Diaz and other authors you might read in a trendy undergraduate lit program.
Music: 'Indie,' 'Electronic,' 'Classical,' 'Neo-classical.'
Films: 'Critically acclaimed,' meaning like Fight Club or American Beauty, but also Up, and like Amour.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran the fossil fuel divestment campaign at my college, College of the Atlantic, up in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Teach, Learn, Share
What's the dif between this question and the next one?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Aphorisms, poetry, something the Buddha said once, the crazy story of how I've gotten to wherever I was headed. An easy going company; good conversation; occasionally mushy, goo-prone progressive on left humanist, feminist sentiments; open ears; flexible traveler.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Croatia, France, Poland, United States
