ABOUT ME

I am a laid back recent grad school graduate who wants to see everything and meet everyone. I am independent and personable. I love to have a good time and can find the fun and positive in almost anything. I enjoy hearing stories of people's lives and their experiences and how it has affected them and shaped who they now are. I also enjoy nature and admiring its beauty and strength.

I am a left-handed vegetarian and my passion is to travel around the world visiting family, friends, and cities everywhere.

"If you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything"...so get out there and experience as much as you can so that you can know what you are talking about and so that you can have a valid opinion on the things constantly going around you in your life :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I backpacked through Europe for two months during summer 2010 and had my first experiences as a couchsurfer. Now that I have returned to the states, I want to act as a host for travelers as well as continue to be hosted during my own future adventures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had positive experiences thus far with couchsurfing. It is an excellent program and I rate it very highly.

Interests

I enjoy traveling, exercising, yoga, music, skiing, tennis, maintaining a positive and healthy lifestyle, being around my friends and family, partying, reading, doing research, and making the most out of my days.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite movies are the Harry Potter series, What Lies Beneath, The Butterfly Effect, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and many more.
I'm also obsessed with the TV series LOST.

I absolutely love music and the diversity of it all. I think that it is an amazing way of expressing yourself and helping you out in any situation. I am always looking for new music artists, bands, and types. I like pretty much any kind of music though my tastes have recently changed to more electronic/alternative such as M.I.A., Ladytron, Lady Gaga, Little Boots, Crookers, Fever Ray, The Knife, Imogen Heap, Band of Horses, Bloc Party, Feist, Portishead, Uffie, and Santigold as well as Coldplay, MGMT, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Robyn, HEALTH, Band of Horses, and Sia.
