About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Securing the Danish National IT infrastructure

ABOUT ME

I guess I was doomed to study forever, but now its over and I miss it like crazy. When I was 25 I moved to Copenhagen and found it revitalizing to escape the rigid frame of thought that dominated Jutland - which is mostly farm country.

I live alone, except the 2-3 days each week when my daughter is here. She lives with her mother mostly.

I work in IT where I fill a role with increasing importance to my department. Its hard work, so I will be home late in the afternoon most days.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the best a what you do.

Be honest about all things that are serious to you and the people around you, but dont be shy to joke and kid.

Anything anybody really ever does, is with the best intentions. The problem is to understand the context in which others think.

Music, Movies, and Books

Litterature: Anything by Chuck Palahniuk and Neil Gaiman, Mark Z. Danielewski's House of Leaves and lots more.

Music: Differs, Indie, Rock, Nu-metal, Electronica, Darkwave and the occational pop. I just like music.

Movies: Such a big question!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I watched as a number of doctors were pulling a metal shard out of my foot. Bottom line; it was like catching a strange live theatre version of 'Saw'.

Also; Working hard to inspire a sense of culture and social belonging in our new university have been a fruitful and wonderful experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Computer game theory and reception/reader theory

Understanding of the directions that our new media is taking. Really really nerdy stuff.

For the less academic interested, I'll teach you how to play the guitar and cook ;)
